When the baseball season hits late July, it takes some creativity to power through the summer doldrums. For the Arizona Diamondbacks, that meant a Star Wars night where everyone got to bring their best Comic-Con game to the ballpark.

Here’s Steve Berthiaume and Bob Brenly dressed as a storm trooper and Chewy respectively. Berthiaume even got into the Star Wars pun game to take this theme all the way to the final frontier. Wait, now I’m getting my fantasy, space-related movie dynasties mixed up…
I’m sure when Brenly managed the Diamondbacks to a World Series title in 2001, he fully envisioned this happening 13 years later. Probably for the best they didn’t go with Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia.
