Last month, ESPN analyst and former Major League pitcher Curt Schilling announced he'd been diagnosed with cancer. He underwent successful surgery and was undergoing radiation treatment. It appears Schilling will now have to go under the knife again.

That's part of the update he left on his Facebook page on Monday:

“Week 2 begins with radiation and unfortunately more surgery. Not gonna break me, though, way too much faith in Him and love from friends and family.”

ESPN has announced that no one will replace Schilling in his new role as an analyst for Sunday Night Baseball. Dan Shulman and John Kruk will work on their own rather than have another analyst sit in. ESPN released a statement when Schilling announced his diagnosis that "we look forward to welcoming him back to our baseball coverage whenever he’s ready."
