Calling the 2014 season a mess for the Chicago Bears may be an understatement. The team is 3-6, is coming off of back to back slaughters by the Patriots and Packers, and is simply falling apart. Naturally, it’s not enough for the team to be struggling on the field. Brandon Marshall has caused a dust-up this week by proposing to fight a Twitter troll for $25,000.

This isn’t some sort of awful, gross, disgusting behavior from Marshall, but he really needs to have some thicker skin and brush the stupid trolls aside. If you feed the trolls, they will multiply and drive you even crazier. If you ignore or block them, they’ll eventually just disappear and you won’t have to worry about them saying awful things about you, your mother, or your teammates.

I don’t think Marshall necessarily had bad intentions in mind, but what did he expect was going to happen? A troll offers to fight him for money, he accepts it, and all hell breaks loose. Just another chapter in the daily saga of the Chicago Bears.
