Because being drafted into the NFL Draft isn’t distracting enough, former Alabama quarterback AJ McCarron and his fiancee, model and Brent Musberger favorite Katherine Webb are reportedly shooting a reality show leading up to their wedding.

The Auburn Plainsman newspaper reported that the couple has been filming the show for weeks now, even capturing the romantic Alabama football helmet cake proposal on film.

Webb’s father Alan and sister Laurie both spoke to the Plainsman, saying producers approached the couple, but assured that this would be no Kardashian wedding.

“As reality shows go, this would be a wholesome one for sure,” Alan Webb said, according to theplainsman.com.

This is not the first attempt from producers to build a show around Katherine Webb, who was approached by producers after the Musberger sighting at the 2011 BCS Championship Game, but refused.

The show will primarily focus on the bridal side of the planning, leaving McCarron available to focus on his professional footballing duties. Though, filming a full-time reality show might not look great to NFL teams potentially drafting him.

Apparently being filmed on spec, the family is unsure of how many episodes will be filmed. There has also been no link to any particular network being involved yet, but the ratings for this show in Birmingham will beat most of ABC’s regularly scheduled programming.

All we know is the Alabama wedding of the century will be televised, and the couple won’t have any trouble finding some network to air it.
