That Other Pregame Show premiered last year on CBS Sports Network as a companion to CBS’ The NFL Today. And while we don’t know the ratings as CBSSN is not measured by Nielsen, it was able to make an impact on the parent network.

Analyst Bart Scott made the trip across the hall to the NFL Today this season at the CBS Broadcast Center from TOPS as it is known inside the network’s world headquarters. Scott’s departure from That Other Pregame Show left a vacancy on the show’s panel.

Another cast member leaving the show is Allie LaForce who departs for the SEC on CBS as a sideline reporter.

While host Adam Schein, former Oakland Raiders executive Amy Trask and CBS Radio Sports personality Brandon Tierney remain on the program, TOPS is bringing in two ex-jocks to replace Scott for the show’s second season.

Former Washington linebacker London Fletcher will sit on the panel as will former Washington and Minnesota defensive back Fred Smoot.

Coming over from NBC Sports Radio and WFAN is Anita Marks who will discuss fantasy and other issues. She’ll host some segments on the four hour show that airs from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Eastern time.

The show will continue its modus operandi of talking about football without forcing debate or shoving storylines down the viewer’s throat.

The show’s second season premieres on Sunday, September 7 at 9 a.m. ET on CBS Sports Network.
