We've documented some of the foibles of Spring Training with Dick Enberg calling a flyball a home run and this Flint, Michigan sports anchor botching a Tigers report, but this quote from ESPN's Doug Glanville tops them all. Early in Monday's broadcast of Cardinals-Yankees, Glanville offered this insight on the Yankees injury situation:
"They have basically Brokeback Mountain going over here. I mean everybody's on the disabled list or hurt in some form or fashion."
Doug Glanville clearly has not seen Brokeback Mountain, because… yea as Boog Sciambi said, let's just leave it alone.
