On Friday we shared with you Northwestern University's great "This is SportsCenter" parody video produced by the school's football program.  The ESPN ad campaign is legendary for its mix of sports, humor and athletes and has been pivotal in catapaulting SportsCenter's popularity over the years.

Well it turns out Northwestern is far from the only school to produce a fantastic parody video that channels one of the great ad campaigns in sports.  In fact, we were sent videos from both La Salle and Nicholls State with their own "This is SportsCenter" theme…

La Salle students produced this video bringing a golfing environment to the classroom…

Nicholls State's mockumentary spoofs feature a Yeti, which has become the school's unofficial mascot and even has its own Facebook page.  That automatically give it a few bonus points as Yetis are a great and underrated source for comedy bits.  The first shows him/her/it procrastinating in the athletic office…

The second, and perhaps the best video of the lot, shows the Yeti helping Nicholls play by play man Mike Wagenheim with his broadcasting catchphrases…

Brilliant stuff all the way around.  If your school has produced a This is SportsCenter parody (and it's actually somewhat funny, well made and worth sharing) send it our way!  Anyone who spoofs the Charley Steiner "follow me to freedom" spot will win a place in our hearts forever.
