UFC color commentator Joe Rogan will be hosting a new show on SyFy beginning on Tuesday, July 16th. The show is entitled Joe Rogan Questions Everything, and will focus on Rogan's love for paranormal and other science fiction mysteries across the country. If you've ever listened to Rogan's podcast, The Joe Rogan Experience, you know the kind of stuff this show will be focusing on.

It'll be interesting to see how this new show meshes with Rogan's UFC duties, but I'd wager that it won't have much of an effect at all. Rogan has done work with NBC Universal in the past while still working with the UFC (the brief relaunch of Fear Factor two winters ago), and I don't believe he missed a UFC show while filming it. With the UFC's new Fox deal in effect, Rogan's workload has been cut down, and he has just a pair of shows to commentate over the next month (April 20th and April 27th).

Anyone familiar with Rogan's podcast knows that he can get a little out there at times in discussing aliens, government conspiracies, hallucinogenic drugs, and anything in between, but he's almost always insightful and humorous in his conversations about them. The UFC seemingly has a laissez-faire attitude towards Rogan's work outside the cage (see his lack of discipline for his comments about Fallon Fox on his podcast last month), and I really don't think this is going to be something that will have a monumental effect in either direction on his broadcasting career. After all, Rogan has said before on his podcast that if the UFC forces him to choose between his stand-up comedy career and his broadcasting career, he'd part ways with the UFC.
