The Rams selected West Virginia wide reciever Tavon Austin with their first round selection in this year's draft. When speaking to high schoolers at a Nike event, Austin relayed a story about how his new professional franchise frowned upon the activity on his Twitter account…
Tavon Austin: "three strippers followed me, I flowed them back. Next thing I know I'm in the GMs office. Now I'm off twitter" Classic.

Tavon isn't really off Twitter, but it's good to see these franchise being proactive in terms of controlling social media PR damage. In terms of Twitter Perils For Professional Athletes, the whole "accidental DM to a stripper made public" has to rank in the Top 10, doesn't it? It's right up there with publicly criticizing the franchise, posting a graphic image of yourself, or basically anything Roddy White tweets.
The next step for all the tweeters out there: how to make people believe you were really hacked.
