The 2013 MLB season is just around the corner.  This week as Opening Day draws near we'll break down each network that covers America's pastime including announcers, schedules, and quick facts about the coverage coming your way this season.  To wrap up our national series – MLB Network.

Quick Hits

-MLB Network will 24 hour baseball coverage throughout the regular and postseason
-MLB Tonight airs nightly as pregame, in game and post game studio show
-Quick Pitch closes each night with the day’s highlights while staying in progress during late games until the final pitch
-Live studio coverage of MLB Draft
-MLB Network Showcase will air several games a month starting April 7th (San Francisco Giants at the Los Angeles Dodgers at 10 PM)
-Live simulcasts from Regional Sports Networks and local channels 3-4 nights
-Strike Zone (on cable/satellite) with coverage games on Tuesday and Friday nights
-MLB Network will air two division series games in October
-Monthly schedule will be released before the start of the season
