History was made yesterday at The Vatican as Cardinal Jorge Mario Bergoglio of Argentina was elected as the 266th Pope of the Catholic Church, taking the name of Francis I.  Catholic or not, it was one of those rare events when everyone was seemingly focused on and talking about the same story.  Sports and news folk on my timeline were all zeroed in on the announcement (and trying out their best standup material).  Of course, it's fitting that the Sports Pope, Mike Francesa, was tuned in as well.  Watch as he attempts to provide play by play coverage of the pope's unveiling to his audience.  Key word being "attempts."

By the way, it's pronounced Ber-GOAL-io.  At least it wasn't Pope Al Alburquerque.
