The Washington Nationals have initiated new MASN field reporter Julie Alexandria to the team. How you ask? By giving her the postgame Gatorade bath.

This started last year after various Nationals victories. Not only would the player in the on-field postgame interview get doused, but so would the reporter. Last season, Kristina Akra was the person who was the brunt of several Gatorade baths. Here's one from 2012 so you get the gist.

Kristina left MASN and the Nationals just before this season to take a job with MLB Network. After a short search, MASN hired Fox College Football sideline reporter Julie Alexandria and her first game happened to be Thursday night against the Cincinnati Reds. Following a Nats win, Alexandria interviewed pitcher Gio Gonzalez and she soon found herself the target of a Gatorade drenching of her own.

Julie took the dousing like a champ and Friday night it happened again after another Nationals victory.  Alexandria was interviewing Jordan Zimmerman after pitching a one hitter in a 1-0 victory against the Reds when she was drenched once more.

If the Nationals continue their winning ways, we could be posting more postgame Gatorade bath videos.
