John Tortorella has long been known to have a contentious relationship with the media. His on-the-bench interviews with NBC's Pierre McGuire would be enough to make the creators of the original, British version of The Office squirm. However, his new team after being fired by the New York Rangers — the Vancouver Canucks — will not be on NBC or NBCSN this season, so ol' Torts has to find a new network to make uncomfortable until at least the playoffs.

Luckily, there is the CBC. Canada's public broadcaster is always known for stirring up controversy, at least with Don Cherry. After a shouting match with Edmonton Oilers assistant coach Keith Acton, analyst Glenn Healy said in the Hockey Night in Canada studio that he should "suck it up and shut up." Tortorella did not respond kindly.

The best part of this is the reaction from the CBC studio crew, and particularly host Ron MacLean afterwards. Elliotte Friedman's awkward plea to keep peace and let this all go is also wonderful. The Canucks have 14 more games on CBC this season, so I'm sure this isn't the last we'll see of John Tortorella vs. Canada's public broadcaster.
