Jason La Canfora, an NFL Insider for CBS Sports, tweeted earlier that his wife was the victim of a hit-and-run in the Baltimore-area this morning.
Let me catch the scumbag who is trying to get away with the hit and run on York Rd in Towson from a half hour ago. you will pay

Can't express how overwhelmingly appreciative we are of all the best wishes. Thank you so much. Lauren will be discharged tonight. Thanks!

Thankfully, it appears that his wife will be okay and did not lose consciousness. The only information available so far is that it occurred at intersection of York Road and Stevenson Lane in Towson, and the vehicle is silver and probably has some front-end damage.
La Canfora is asking for help in identifying the vehicle and given his massive following as a prominent NFL insider, hopefully someone comes forward. I can't say I've ever seen a prominent sports personality use Twitter in this way, but we hope the power of social media will help the La Canforas in this case.
