Updated: Thank you to John for sending us the apology made right after the video above. Posted at the bottom.

Homer Bailey pitched his second no hitter tonight for the Cincinnati Reds, becoming one of just a handful of pitchers in MLB history to throw consecutive MLB no-nos.  Bailey threw the last no hitter in the big leagues last September.  Considering we're talking about something done only a few times in the entire history of baseball, this is a very impressive accomplishment.

So we can forgive Homer Bailey for being visibly perturbed when Reds reporter Jeff Piecoro asked him about that one pesky walk he gave up tonight.  Tough crowd there on Fox Sports Ohio, tough crowd.

The Reds broadcast did a commendable job smoothing things over immediately after going with "What happened just happened" and "We've all been there."
