Basketball analyst and sideline reporter Doris Burke has signed a new multi-year extension to remain with ESPN. Burke, an NBA and college basketball analyst, will now join Wednesday editions of Kia NBA Countdown beginning on November 13th.

In addition to her new role, Burke will continue to serve as an analyst for NBA games on ABC and ESPN. She'll also retain her role as a college basketball (men's and women's) analyst.

Burke's comments on her new deal:

This next chapter in my ESPN journey is going to be exciting, challenging and most of all, rewarding. Working on NBA Countdown offers me a chance to do everything I love – I get to talk basketball with my colleagues while hopefully facilitating some great discussion on NBA’s top storylines.

ESPN is delighted to retain Burke, describing her as one of their "most talented and versatile commentators." It's good to see her rewarded with a new deal and an expanded role at ESPN as her work has earned deserved plaudits in recent years.
