ESPN has wasted no time putting this whole Te’o fiasco at the top of their Breaking News queue. On a day filled with lots of coaching news, Te’o trumps all with this elaborate scheme he is now claiming to be the victim of. Although SportsCenter led with Chip Kelly going to the Eagles, Te’o got the breaking news treatment.

There are probably millions of facts we have yet to find out and some we probably never will. But every media outlet in the nation, the same ones that were lauding Te’o for his emotional bravery, are now falling all over themselves to get the real story.

It will be interesting to see how this plays out – for now, we certainly will not have to worry about lack of speculation or coverage. From anyone.
