ESPN launches SportsCenter app

Your ESPN ScoreCenter app will have a new look and name the next time you update it. ESPN has officially launched their SportsCenter app which will arrive on your phone as an update to the original ScoreCenter app. Available for Apple and Android phones, the app is designed to offer a personalized mix of ESPN's content.

No worries – your live score updates haven't disappeared. Instead, the new SportsCenter app offers "enhanced scores" and expanded information. Considering the live score updates are the sole reason an approximate 43 million people installed the ScoreCenter app, let's hope the functionality is essentially the same.

The new app also includes news, ESPN Now features, a favorites list and a personal inbox to collect info and highlights.
