What's the only thing more vapid, insipid, mind-numbing, and tedious than celebrity interviews on the daytime SportsCenter? Celebrity interviews featuring the star of a terrible, terrible movie (Kevin James of Grown Ups 2) talking about painfully dumb topics ("Should Fireman Ed return to lead Jets cheer?")
Fireman Ed, really. That was a topic today on SportsCenter. Fireman. Ed.
You thought it couldn't get worse than poor Mike Hill asking Liam Neeson about Tim Tebow? Wrong! I can't think of a more pointless, unsatisfying two minutes in the 30+ year history of SportsCenter… and yet, here we are.
And we wonder why ESPN's ratings are down?
Thanks Cork Gaines for the screengrab.
