Eric Crouch puts a new spin on the sideline report

Former Nebraska quarterback and Heisman Trophy winner has been doing some work as an analyst for Big Ten Network this season.  Saturday he showed up as a sideline reporter for the Minnesota-Indiana game.

Maybe he should rethink sideline reporting.

Crouch provided a report on Minnesota center Jon Christenson, who was taken to the hospital after being carted off the field with a leg injury.  Crouch updated viewers on the "great news" that Christenson wants to be a doctor when he graduates and is a smart guy.  That's great because he can… operate on… himself?
