When it comes to hockey, Canadians pride themselves on knowing the game and not having the sport dumbed down. But when you look at the above Hockey Night in Canada promo from 1967, you'll hear plenty of sound effects added like they were out of a Batman comic.  Sound effects such as a *boing* or a cymbal to signify a crash. You would think it was produced by Fox Sports, but it was done by CBC. It's pretty funny. And it's a classic.

A nice find for a Monday morning in August.
