Believe it or not, the MLB Playoffs are here, and they start today! While the validity of deciding a 162 game season on a 1 game playoff between two Wild Card teams can be questioned, there's no question tonight's games should be exciting for fans. Brian Anderson, Joe Simpson, and Ron Darling call Cards-Braves while the top TBS crew of EJ, Ripken, and Smoltz call Orioles-Rangers. Saturday sees the Division Series kick off with A's-Tigers and Reds-Giants. MLB Network's first postseason telecast comes from Detroit at Noon on Saturday.
