The British Open, golf's oldest major, kicks off this week for the 141st time at Royal Lytham & St. Annes on Thursday.  As for the last several years, ESPN will be providing exclusive coverage of all four rounds.  Somehow, golf fans are lucky enough to avoid Chris Berman stumbling through more golf coverage… perhaps the British are on to something.  Thakfully, Berman's painful cameo will be replaced by the delightful Peter Alliss and the rest of ESPN's stellar golf crew.  Note as well you'll have to get up before the crack of dawn if you want to see golf's most glamorous stars hit the links live back here in the states.
