Quite frankly, I’m a bit disappointed we haven’t seen more of these announcing clips from Euro 2012.  You know, the ones from the banks of announcers from all over the world covering the tournament and going absolutely insane with jubilation when their nation scores a goal.  I love those clips!  Thankfully, this is one of those clips.  On Saturday, Greek captain Giorgos Karagounis scored the only goal in Greece’s 1-0 win over Russia.  The victory sent the Greeks into the quarterfinals to face Germany where they’ll look to continue their surprising run and duplicate their shocking 2004 victory.  Watch as this announcer (though he isn’t identified, I have to believe it’s the Greek play by play man) stand up at his table, pound his fist, point to the sky, and generally just scream at the top of his lungs for a solid minute and a half.  Sadly, there were no lasers though.
