Today begins my favorite sporting event of the year, a tradition unlike any other… the Masters.  There’s nothing like seeing the beauty of Augusta National and the drama of the biggest golf tournament in the world.  It’s the one time of year I welcome Jim Nantz’s willowy side into my life.  I grew up a golfer, so I’ve watched the Masters every year of my life and can tell you the specifics of each hole and each Sunday pin location.  Last year, Charl Schwartzel delivered a historic victory birdieing the final four holes to win on Sunday.  With Tiger Woods finally back in the win column and several stars promising to be in contention, this is one of the most anticipated major tournaments in recent memory.

Here’s your schedule for the four day event along with the announcing assignments.  ESPN has coverage starting at 3 PM ET on Thursday and Friday with CBS taking over for the weekend beginning at 3:30 PM ET on Saturday and 2 PM ET on Easter Sunday.  There are no apparent changes to the CBS weekend crew as the announcers will all be stationed at their familiar locations for the Back 9 on Sunday and throughout the weekend.
