Derrick Rose is a former NBA MVP and making a comeback from a devastating injury during last year's playoffs which derailed the Bulls' championship hopes.  He's certainly a talented superstar, but saving the NHL from another lockout may be outside his abilities.

(Cue the jokes about ESPN not having pictures of anyone involved in the NHL.)

Rose was busy Thursday night according to ESPN though.  Not only was he involved in the NHL's labor dispute, he was also part of a Bears team that lost 23-10 to the Packers.  Why didn't the Bears try him at left tackle… or dress him in a Packers uniform so Jay Cutler would throw to him is beyond me.
