College GameDay has made a habit of bringing on a celebrity every week to sit on the stage and make picks for the biggest college football games of the day.  Like most all celebrity appearances across television, this is met with a wide variety of success.  Some celebrity pickers have a good idea of what's happening in college football and can add a smidgen of insight and entertainment value to the telecast.  Some are there just for window dressing.  Others are unmitigated disasters.  Then, there's Ryan Lochte.

Well, with GameDay in Baton Rouge for LSU-Alabama, ESPN is turning to another Olympian and an LSU grad, Lolo Jones.  Via LSUsports.com

"Olympic athlete Lori "Lolo" Jones will join the College GameDay Built by The Home Depot (@CollegeGameDay) cast for the guest picker segment. A track and field star at LSU, Jones was an 11-time All-American and three-time NCAA Championship where she specialized in hurdles. She competed with U.S. track and field in the 2008 and 2012 Olympics and most recently, Jones was named to the U.S. national bobsled team, giving her the chance to earn a spot on the bobsled World Cup circuit."

In case you haven't heard, Lolo is on her way to being a member of the US Olympic bobsled team at the next Winter Olympics because she needs something to do and the Winter Olympics need something to attract more viewers.  Lolo's last run-in with a notable college football player didn't work out so well, but in terms of Olympian celebrity pickers on GameDay, there's nowhere else to go but up for her.

Whatever you do Lolo, just don't pick Auburn.
