The NFL is America's #1 sport.  This is no secret.  But the extent to which the NFL dominates the sports, and even the culture landscape, in America continues to amaze.  The NFL flexed its muscles this week by announcing the league has the 10 most watched shows on American television this fall.  Not 5, not 6, not 7 of the Top 10.  All 10.  

The FOX national telecast (mostly N.Y. Giants-49ers) was the most watched TV program last week (Oct. 8-14) topping all sports and entertainment competition with 22.3 million average viewers and was followed by the Packers-Texans game on NBC’s Sunday Night Football which drew 19.9 million viewers.

For the season, NFL games rank as the 10 most-watched TV shows since Labor Day. Following are the most-watched programs this fall:

Again, we're not just talking about the most watched games or sports shows.  We're talking all of television.  At the moment there's nothing that can stop the NFL.  Before too long, Roger Goodell will declare himself the winner of the 2012 Presidential Election and the league will be another step closer to total world domination.
