Retired baseball star and former Yankees pitcher David Cone had a little fun at the expense of Yankees radio announcer John Sterling during Tuesday's Yankees-Red Sox game…

Cody Ross fouled a pitch back towards the announcing booths, and TV commentator David Cone began making fun of the Yankees play-by-play voices, Sterling and Michael Kay for avoiding the foul ball. Cone went after Sterling with this twist on his classic line: “It is high, it is far, it is on my forehead.”

Not too bad by Mr. Cone, but if his comedy career doesn't quite take off at least he's got his Cy Young Award and All-Star game appearances to fall back on.

What makes this even more interesting though is that it's the second time this month that John Sterling has had an endeavor with a foul ball. A few days back, his mic was hit with a foul ball, and you can hear the sound it makes quite clearly. Perhaps that's why Sterling was a bit more eager to duck for cover this time.
