ESPN's College GameDay will hail from the campus of the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, Tennessee this weekend.  This will be the eighth time the popular college football pre-game show visits Knoxville, however the first time since way back in October of 2004. Given the recent dominance of the SEC (and the amount of airtime the conference receives), it's surprising that it's been that long since the Vols have been on the national radar.

The show will air live at 10 a.m. on ESPN; with the usual cast of Chris Fowler, analysts Lee Corso, Kirk Herbstreit, Desmond Howard, David Pollack, and host/reporter Samantha Steele.

The 2-0 Volunteers host the 2-0 Florida Gators, which is sure to be a rough and tumble SEC throw-down. It is also Tennessee's SEC opener. They aren't going to want to lose this game at home with the nation watching for the first time in a long time, so I expect they'll bring their A game in what is sure to be an exciting contest.
