The real beginning of the NCAA Tournament is finally here!  Today kicks off the Round of 64 with 16 games today in the real first round.  After suffering through watching California and some of the less than stellar basketball played in the First Four, it is something we all deserve.  So with the tournament kicking off in full, it’s time for the Billy Packer Chronicles to do the same.

The Billies work just like the Pammies and the Dickies.  Leave us the announcer and analyst quotes in the comments below or tweet them to us at @awfulannouncing and/or by using the hashtag #BPAA.  Don’t forget that it’s not just the game announcers but studio personalities, radio announcers, and anyone talking college basketball that is elligible.  After each round, we’ll have a new poll and award points all the way through the Final Four.  At the end of March Madness, which announcer will have their one shining moment as the winner of the Billy Packer Chronicles?  Here’s a few quotes from the First Four to get us started…
