Well, you see, 5 of those 12 HRs from Hairston have come against the Phillies this season. This year and last, Hairston has killed the Phillies, repeatedly. The most recent examples came last week when Hairston hit home runs in back to back games on July 4th and 5th.
Obviously frustrated with his club's inability to get the journeyman outfielder out, Franzke let rip during a commercial break on July 4th after a 4th inning Hairston home run off Cliff Lee. Too bad there's no footage of Franzke from the July 5th game when Hairston homered, the Phils lost that game 6-5.
