Some potential playoff previews this week. Braves/Phillies could be an NLCS match up; Phillies/Brewers is another NLCS possibility, as it stands now. On Saturday, the Yankees do battle with the Angels, who can still catch the Rangers.

And then there’s Sunday Night Baseball between the Cubs and Mets. Maybe ESPN knew this would be a throw away, so when they get dominated by Sunday Night Football, they’ll have a built in excuse of, “Well, it’s the Cubs vs. Mets; what do you expect?” [UPDATE: As Toki470 points out in the comments, it’s obviously because of 9/11, which I knew was Sunday but for some reason didn’t put two and two together. Where should I put my first blogger Pammy of the new cfb season?]
