The postseason slate is set in the AL (although the Yanks and Rays are still battling it out for the AL East crown). The NL is a different story. While the Phillies and Reds have clinched their respective divisions, the Giants hope to stave off the Padres in the NL West. They currently lead the Padres by 2.5 games. The loser of NL West still has a shot at the Wild Card, though. The Braves currently have a 1.5 games lead over the Padres for that ticket to the MLB postseason. The Braves finish the season with a series against the Phillies and the Padres finish with the Giants after completing their series with the Cubs tonight.

Note:
MLB Network has a gap in its schedule from Noon to 10PM on October 3.  Neither, Philadelphia at Atlanta (1:30PM), Tampa Bay at Kansas City (2PM) or San Diego at San Francisco (4PM) final games are scheduled nationally.  But I would bet MLB Network will break in or schedule the games live if either is significant to the playoff picture.

H/T to Sammy!
