Just to finish this story, Shannon Sharpe’s most recent legal troubles were resolved on Wednesday with the protective order being withdrawn and the case against him being dismissed.
With a clean slate, he’ll be back on CBS’s The NFL Today this Sunday, having missed exactly zero shows. That said, the news that he has had ten previous citations for incidents involving former partners is certainly disconcerting, and his public image has taken a big hit. I’m sure he’ll be on thin ice from here on out at CBS.
