Merrill Reese and the Miracles in the Meadowlands

Philadelphia Eagles radio play by play man Merrill Reese has one of the most recognizable voices in all of sports.  Yesterday’s incredible Eagles comeback, the so-called Miracle at the New Meadowlands, will go down in NFL history as one of the most improbable wins of all-time.  Amazingly, DeSean Jackson returned a punt for a touchdown with no time on the clock to complete a 21 point comeback in the last 8 minutes.  Jackson’s return is at least the third Miracle in the Meadowlands (Eagles fans can let us know if there are any more out there).  Enjoy these classic Merrill Reese calls from Joe Pisarcik fumbling the football to Brian Westbrook’s 2003 punt return TD to yesterday’s newest miracle… unless you’re a Giants fan that is…

1) November 19, 1978 – Herman Edwards Fumble Return TD

2) October 19, 2003 – Brian Westbrook Punt Return TD

3) December 19, 2010 – DeSean Jackson Punt Return TD
