ESPN just aired a portion of the Outside The Lines piece that will air in its entirety this Sunday, and I take back everything I said about them ever getting “egg on their face”. Not only do they have accounts from parties at the Atlanta strip club about Pacman the night in question, but they also have surveillance footage of Jones entering “Club Blaze” just past midnight. It’s sad that Adam Jones’ career is likely over, especially considering the talent that he had, but it’s even more sad that he just couldn’t keep things together after second, third and fourth chances. I can’t believe that it took this long for the story to come out, and good job by ESPN on being the first to investigate/break the item.
ESPN should be sued for a lot of things, but it appears that this isn’t one of them.
