I don’t think I’ve ever written a post on Skiing that didn’t have a video of someone involved in a horrific crash, but I guess there’s a first time for everything. CBS has a Celebrity Skiing event every year that features some of the finest from music, television and film. Well this year the left the “finest” part out.
Not only are the most relevant people on the list, Gavin Rosedale and Julia Louis-Dreyfus, but they’ve even invited US Weekly’s favorite couple….Heidi and Spencer!!!
CBS SPORTS SPECTACULAR styles the slopes of Deer Valley, Utah with a one-hour special, DEER VALLEY CELEBRITY SKIFEST presented by Paul Mitchell, on Sunday, Dec. 21 (5:00-6:00 PM; 3:00-4:00 PM in late NFL markets; taped 12/6-7). The Deer Valley Celebrity Skifest celebrates its 17th anniversary this year as celebrities from television, movies, and the Olympic Games come together to benefit Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s Waterkeeper Alliance, along with the U.S. Ski and Snowboard teams. Featured skiers include special guests Gavin Rossdale, Ian Ziering, Heidi Montag, Spencer Pratt, Julia Louis-Dreyfus and others. CBS Sports’ Mary Carillo, along with Olympic gold medal skier Picabo Street and Maria Sansone, call the action.
Woo hoo! I didn’t know flesh colored beards and fake body parts were allowed on the slopes. I what am I talking about? That’s what Skiing was built on. We can only hope that Heidi and Spencer race each other and somehow crash into each other on the hill.
