UPDATE: This comes via Reader Desmond….

Some sideline report news and rumors: Shannon Spake will be reporting from at least one of the ESPN bowl games, according to The Daly Planet blog. One of the responders in the comments section in the same article indicates that Krista Voda will be the sideline reporter at the Cotton Bowl.

Both Spake and Voda are usually NASCAR correspondents.

EA did beat out both of them in Playboy’s Hottest Sportscaster contest, but apparently she’s being pushed aside for some fresh faces.
